G. B. Jonesis aCanadian artist, filmmaker, musician, and publisher of zines, known for her contributions to the queer punk and post-punk scenes. Jones initially gained recognition for her Tom Girls drawings, which were published in the queer punk fanzineJ.D.s, which she founded and co-published with Bruce LaBruce. From the early 1980s to the late 1990s, Jones performed with the experimental post-punk band Fifth Column and was one of the co-founders of the group. Jones has also directed several films, includingThe Troublemakers,The Yo-Yo Gang, andThe Lollipop Generation.
