Giving a child confidence is key at a young age and having them read this book will show them that they can do anything with a little bit of practice. Ajay can’t throw a ball very far though he loves to play. His older sister Meera can throw it far and his friends can throw a ball but he can’t; it just plops down at his feet when he tries. His friends come to his aid and show him how he was afraid to talk to his teacher but one day he went up and kept talking. His sister says he can do it and to throw it far. Ajay winds back and throws the ball far and everyone cheers. It’s a great little story any child would love to read. Rebecca Livsey, Student, Kutztown University
